CartSync ("the App") is a Shopify app operated by [YOUR NAME/COMPANY] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App processes and why.
When a merchant installs CartSync on their Shopify store and a signed-in customer interacts with their cart, we process:

We use the data only to provide the App's functionality: saving a signed-in customer's cart on one device and restoring it when the same customer signs in from another device or returns later.

Cart data is stored in a secure database managed by us. Data is retained while the App remains installed on the merchant's store.
When the App is uninstalled, we delete all data associated with the merchant's shop within 30 days, triggered automatically by Shopify's app/uninstalled, shop/redact, and customers/redact webhooks.
CartSync subscribes to Shopify's GDPR/CCPA compliance webhooks:

Requests are made through the merchant's store, and the merchant forwards them to Shopify, which relays them to us via the compliance webhooks above.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and signed requests via Shopify's App Proxy. Only authenticated requests from Shopify are accepted by our servers.
